Your Commitment Matters
Each individual at Altea shares the responsibility of maintaining a safe and inviting atmosphere. By following these guidelines, you contribute to a positive environment that empowers everyone.
Picture Perfect – We’re all about putting a face to the name – you’ll need to snap a photo for your file. Guests, please bring along a valid ID to join us for the day.
Membership Access – Your membership is your golden ticket. No sharing, though – it’s all about you and your journey. Keep your membership identification handy every time you enter the facility. When you arrive, don’t forget to scan your membership identification with the front desk team.
Account Standing – Ensure your account is in good standing for uninterrupted access to all our services.
Membership Holds – If you’re hitting pause on your membership, remember your hold means a break from the Club. No access during this time, but we’ll be here ready to welcome you back when your membership is set to resume.
Membership Variety – We believe in catering to your unique needs, which is why we offer a variety of membership types, from Gold to Diamond and Signature to Prestige Clubs. Your key to multiple clubs depends on your membership type.
Keep It Healthy – If the little ones aren’t feeling great, we ask that you please keep them at home. We want to keep everyone in good health and limit the spread of germs.
Extra Fun, Extra Cost – Our youth programs come with some amazing extras, but yes, there’s a cost involved. Once the payment is squared away, the fun begins.
Registration Rules – Before your mini-me joins the fun, ensure they are registered. It’s the key to unlocking all the activities.
Hang Around, Parents – While your mini-explorer does their thing, we ask that you hang around the club. We provide two hours of supervision. Special events might be the exception, so keep an eye out.
Diaper Duty – For any diaper-related business, you’ll be asked to return to the Active Kids Club. Our team isn’t available to assist with the diaper business, but we have changing tables ready.
Sign on the Dotted Line – Before the adventure begins, sort out the paperwork. The Active Kids Club Agreement and Rock Climbing Waiver are must-haves.
Locker Logistics – Lockers are on the house for day use, but they will be opened overnight, and anything left behind will find a new home.
Clean Sweep – Keep it tidy, please. Toss your towel in the bin, give the sink a wipe – let’s leave it as clean as we found it.
No Photo/Video – Privacy matters. Phones and gadgets stay out of photographic and video modes in the changing rooms.
Respect – Keep it classy in the changerooms. Respectful behaviour and proper etiquette are required at all times.
No Z’s, Spits, or Romance – Sleeping, spitting, and any romantic gestures are a no-go. We’re here for our workouts.
Family-Friendly Changerooms – Our Universal Changerooms are Family-friendly and required for the kids. Children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or a responsible adult.
In-House Pros Only – We’ve got the experts in the house. Outside trainers are a no-go here. Our Personal Trainers have all the knowledge and tools to help you crush you goals.
Access – Personal Training is exclusive to active, in-good-standing members. Pay up before your session, and you’re good to go.
Timing Matters – Life happens. We get it. Cancel or reschedule 24 hours before your session, and we’re golden. Less notice? We are required to charge for the full session.
Commitment, but with options – Once you’re in, you’re in. Sessions are final and non-refundable, except where the law says otherwise. But if you can’t make it, you might be able to transfer or sell your sessions. Check the fine print.
Trainer Matchup – We’ll work to match you with your dream trainer, but life’s unpredictable. We might need to switch things up. We will always do our best to deliver the best trainer experience for you.
Keep It Neat – After your reps, gear goes back to its spot. It only takes a minute.
Clean Routine – Wipe down the equipment post-use.
No Reservations, Just Reps – No holding spots. Let’s share the equipment – no equipment hoarding or reserving allowed.
Gentle with the Weights – Handle those weights with care and avoid dropping them.
Chalk-Free Zone – Chalk stays out of the equation to keep the club mess-free.
No Snacking – Food takes a back seat on the Fitness Floor. Keep the snacks in your bag until after your workout.
Hydrate Smart – Keep your drinks in sealed, unbreakable bottles.
Water Only Down the Drain – Fountains are for water only. Please do not pour powder-based substances down the drain.
Locker Room Storage – Coats, shoes, bags – they belong in the locker rooms. Let’s keep the floor clutter-free.
Age Check – Fitness Floor action is for ages 12 and up. Below that? We’ll catch you when you’re ready.
Clothing & Footwear – Members are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear while in the facility. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.
Punctuality Matters – Timing is everything. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to each class start time to ensure that you are mentally and physically ready.
To preserve the in-studio experience, and for the safety of the participants, there will be no entry past class start time.
Class Cancellation Policy: Class cancellations must be confirmed at least 2-hours prior to class start time.
Walk-in Participants: As of class start time, all remaining spaces will be made available to walk-in participants.
Walk-in participants are to wait outside of the studio until class start time and will be invited in as space allows by the instructor. Walk-in space will be allocated based on order of arrival.
Footwear – Leave the outdoor shoes outside, no outdoor shoes in Fusion and Hot Yoga studios. Socks or shoes must be worn while in studios. Shoes or sandals are required when passing through the club.
Your Space – Reserve only the space and equipment meant for you – let’s keep it fair.
Mats – Please try to bring your own yoga mat. Fusion Studios have mats, but for Hot Yoga, it’s BYO-mat policy.
Listen & Follow – Please listen to and follow instructions from the Studio Fitness Instructor. Their priority is to keep everyone safe and to deliver a great studio experience.
No Photos/Videos – Capture memories, not images. No snapshots or videos in the studios – let’s keep the focus on the effort.
Shower First – Start your experience off with a shower. Showering is required before diving into the pool, sauna, steam room, or spa.
Lend a Lane – For our lap swimmers, a little extra space goes a long way. Stay clear of the swim lanes that are in use.
Dress the Part – Keep it classy! Proper attire is required in the sauna, steam room, and pool area. No birthday suits, or non-pool ‘fits allowed – let’s keep it comfy and welcoming.
Sauna Serenity – In the sauna, no pouring water on the rocks and no touching the temperature sensor please.
Aroma-Free Zone – Leave the essential oils at home. Our spa, steam room, and sauna come with their own delightful scents.
Noise Levels – Respect the serenity of quiet spaces. Please keep the noise level down and stick to appropriate topics of conversation.

On the Ground and Online – These policies cover your conduct in every nook and cranny of Altea – be it our Clubs, outdoor spaces, Active Kids Clubs, parking lots, sidewalks, or any online, virtual, or interactive platforms we offer. Whether you’re hitting the gym, attending events, or participating in our programs, services, or training, these policies stay in play on or off the premises.
Action for Violations – We’re all about fair play. Any violation of our policies might lead to cancellation, revocation, or suspension of your membership. Let’s keep it within the lines and create the best wellness & social community in Canada!.
