All members will enjoy access to Altea’s premium 25-meter lap pool, hot tub, and steam rooms. Work out or unwind and recover in Aquatics, the perfect space for both. Aquatics will open in Spring 2025.

Altea has partnered with LF3 to deliver the most results-driven small group functional strength and conditioning training to our members. LF3 stands for Lifestyle Fitness based on 3 core pillars, Be Strong, Be Healthy, Be Resilient. LF3 is a full-body functional training system delivered by our certified personal trainers and personalized for your goals.
Over 60 strength machines, over 80 cardio machines, 17 Olympic lifting platforms, and iron-grip dumbbells.
The turf zone is easy on the joints and offers plenty of room to move. It’s ideal for functional, sports, and performance training.

There is one Steam Cabin and one Sauna in each of the men’s and women’s changerooms.
Can members of Altea Ottawa access other Altea clubs?
Platinum & Diamond members of Altea Ottawa will have complimentary access to all Altea locations. Gold members will have single club access, however Gold members have access to other club locations for 50% off the lowest Guest Pass rate available at that club.
When do I have to pay?
All pre-sale membership reservations are simply a commitment to secure your spot at the given membership tier and rate, until club opening. No payments will be taken until the date of club opening.
Can I do a tour before the club opens?
Virtual tours will start after our online pre-sale online or in-person at our presentation centre. We recommend securing a founding rate during our online launch in order to reserve the best rate and then coming in to the Presentation Centre to do the virtual tour should you wish for more information!
Is there a pool only membership?
At Altea, we prioritize all facets of fitness and wellness. All our memberships are all-inclusive.
Please note that our aquatics experience will be a part of Phase 2 of our grand opening. Spring 2025 will feature the release of the complete aquatics experience, including our 25m lap pool, hot tub and swimming lessons.
Is there a pickleball only membership?
At Altea we believe in purposefully designing our spaces to make fitness and wellness easy. We know that no ONE element is the only thing you need and therefore prioritize all facets of fitness and wellness. We want you to be able to play pickleball, build up your strength & balance and recover from those sessions all in one place. Our memberships are all-inclusive.
What does ‘Reserving’ a membership mean in pre-sale?
Reserving your membership means you are guaranteeing your spot at the exclusive Membership Rate available on the date you sign up. You don’t pay anything until the club opens, but you are committing to the terms of the membership you chose. Memberships will automatically activate on the date of our Grand Opening, with payment being taken on that same day.
What is a pre-sale?
The pre-sale is a series of membership tiers released in order of least to most expensive. The lowest prices we will ever offer on our memberships will be released first and prices will continue to increase as we get closer to opening day. The sooner you commit, the more you save! Memberships will not activate until the date of our Grand Opening.
What is your cancellation policy?
Altea members may provide cancellation notice once their initial 12-month commitment has ended (or at any time for Platinum Flex members). Altea Active requires at least 30 days cancellation notice.
During the pre-sale period, members may cancel their membership at anytime prior to Grand Opening.
Refer to your Membership Agreement for more details on your rights under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
Can I downgrade my membership?
Membership downgrades are permitted anytime prior to our Grand Opening, in the first 10 days of your membership term, or any time after the completion of your annual commitment term. Please note that all downgrades are subject to the membership options and rates available at the time of change.
