Unlike many exercise routines that target isolated muscle groups, Reformer Pilates engages your entire body in each movement. The resistance provided by the reformer machine ensures that no muscle is left untouched, resulting in comprehensive muscle development.
The design of the reformer machine allows for fluid, controlled movements with minimal impact on your joints. This makes Reformer Pilates an ideal choice for those recovering from injuries or with joint sensitivities.
Core engagement is a fundamental aspect of ReformerPilates. As you stabilize and control your movements, your core muscles - including abdominals, obliques, and lower back - become stronger, contributing to better posture and reduced back pain.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel outside the allotted window (24 hours for Private and Semi-Private Sessions), you will lose the session credit. It is counted as one of your sessions attended.
If you cancel outside the allotted window (12 hours for Small Group Classes), you will be charged a fee of $15 + tax.
What do I wear on my feet?
It is mandatory to wear anti-slip socks so you don’t slip. These can be purchased at the pro shop, or you may bring your own.
How long before I will see results?
Some results will be immediate, such as feeling more energized, and stronger. Like any other program, results will vary based on the individual. Commitment, consistency and effort will determine the level of results you will see.
How often should I do Reformer Pilates?
By participating in Reformer Pilates 2-3 times per week you will see and feel noticeable results. Our expert coaches will motivate and guide you to get the most out of your sessions.
