Types of Group Fitness Classes: A Complete Breakdown

Find out about the different types of group fitness classes, what to expect, and how to choose the right class for your goals and fitness level.

When you hear “group fitness,” you might picture something from the 80s or assume it’s just for beginners. Let’s clear that up. The world of group fitness has completely transformed. It’s no longer a one-size-fits-all experience. Today’s classes are specialized, challenging, and designed for every goal and fitness level. The reality is that the various types of group fitness classes offered today cover everything from heavy lifting in a small group setting to technical boxing and restorative yoga. This guide will bust the biggest myths and show you how to find a class that challenges you, inspires you, and delivers serious results.

Key Takeaways

  • Let an expert handle the plan: Group classes remove the guesswork by providing a structured, professionally designed workout. With an instructor to guide your form and offer modifications, you can focus on your performance instead of wondering if you’re doing it right.
  • Variety is essential for results: The most effective fitness plans are balanced. Combining strength, cardio, and mind-body classes like yoga or Pilates helps you build well-rounded fitness, prevent plateaus, and stay motivated for the long term.
  • A plan makes all the difference: The best fitness experience offers more than just options; it provides a clear path to your goals. Having access to a variety of classes combined with a personalized plan ensures you know exactly which workouts will help you achieve real, measurable progress.

What Are Group Fitness Classes (And Why Do They Actually Work?)

If you’ve ever walked into a gym, looked at the rows of equipment, and thought, “Now what?” you’re not alone. The solo workout experience requires a ton of self-motivation and a solid plan, which can feel overwhelming on the best of days. This is where group fitness classes come in. At their core, they are workouts led by an instructor in a group setting, designed to guide you through a specific series of movements for a set amount of time.

But they are so much more than that. A great group fitness class is a perfect blend of expert coaching, motivating music, and shared energy. It takes the guesswork out of your workout. You don’t have to plan what to do or wonder if you’re doing it right; you just have to show up and follow along. This structured environment is incredibly effective because it provides the three things most of us need to get real results: guidance, accountability, and a reason to keep coming back. It’s the difference between staring at a blank page and being handed a clear, actionable blueprint for success. Instead of feeling isolated on your fitness journey, you become part of a collective experience, moving and sweating alongside others who share your commitment. This creates a dynamic atmosphere that makes hard work feel more like a shared victory than a solitary struggle.

Group classes vs. solo workouts

Working out alone means you’re the CEO, the planner, and the cheerleader all in one. It’s a lot of pressure. Group fitness classes, on the other hand, let you hand over the planning so you can focus on the work. Instead of wandering between machines or defaulting to the same old treadmill routine, you’re guided through a workout that’s been intentionally designed by a professional. An instructor not only leads the class but also curates the playlist and structures the entire experience to be effective and engaging. This allows you to explore different types of fitness like boxing, Pilates, or strength training without needing to become an expert in each one yourself.

The power of community and accountability

There’s a unique energy in a room full of people working toward a common goal. This shared experience creates a powerful sense of community and a little friendly competition that can push you to hold that plank a few seconds longer or add a little more resistance. This isn’t just a feeling; the social support in group settings significantly improves consistency. When you know your instructor and fellow members are expecting you, you’re much more likely to show up. This built-in accountability makes your fitness goals feel less like a chore and more like a commitment you’re excited to keep.

The personalization problem (and how to solve it)

A common worry about group fitness is getting lost in the crowd or feeling like the class is too advanced or too easy. But a well-designed class is anything but one-size-fits-all. A great instructor is a master of modification, offering options to scale the intensity up or down to match your individual fitness level. They provide real-time feedback on your form, helping you execute movements safely and effectively to prevent injury. At Altea, we take this a step further. Our classes are taught by certified personal trainers, and every membership starts with a complimentary Baseline RX assessment to help us build a personalized plan that guides you to the right classes for your specific goals.

A Guide to the Different Types of Group Fitness Classes

When you first look at a group fitness schedule, the sheer number of options can feel like a lot. With names like METCON, Vinyasa, and LF3, where do you even begin? The truth is, this variety is your biggest asset. It means that no matter your goal or mood, there’s a class waiting for you. Understanding the main categories is the first step to building a weekly routine you’ll actually stick with. Most group fitness classes fall into one of three main categories: mind-body, strength and conditioning, or cardio.

Classes like Pilates, yoga, and barre fall into the mind-body category. These workouts are all about control, precision, and connecting your breath to your movement. They are fantastic for building deep core strength, improving posture, and increasing your functional flexibility. Think of them as the foundation that helps you move better and with more intention, both in the club and in your everyday life.

Next up is strength and conditioning. If your goal is to build muscle, get stronger, and fire up your metabolism, this is where you’ll want to spend some time. This category includes everything from small group functional training, where you learn proper lifting technique, to high-intensity classes like HIIT and METCON that challenge your stamina. These workouts are key to building a capable, resilient body, and mixing up your workouts with different strength formats is a great way to see continuous progress.

Finally, there are cardio-focused classes. For those days you want a high-energy session that gets your heart pumping, look for classes like indoor cycling, boxing, or treadmill-based running groups. These workouts are designed to be fun and motivating, often using beat-driven music and an infectious group energy to help you push your limits. They’re an incredible way to improve your cardiovascular health and leave you feeling completely energized.

Find Your Flow: Pilates and Barre Classes

If you’re looking to build deep core strength, improve your posture, and create long, lean muscle tone, you’ll find your home in our Pilates and Barre studios. These classes are all about control, precision, and connecting your mind to your muscles. They build a powerful foundation of stability and body awareness that makes you stronger and more resilient in all your other workouts, from lifting heavy in the Signature Studio to hitting a new personal best on the treadmills.

While they share a focus on form, each modality offers a unique experience. Reformer Pilates uses spring-loaded machines for a resistance-based challenge, Mat Pilates uses your own bodyweight to build strength from the ground up, and Barre combines ballet-inspired movements with high-energy music for a low-impact, high-burn workout. These classes are the perfect complement to a well-rounded fitness plan, helping you move with more intention, prevent injury, and build a truly balanced physique. At Altea, we offer a full spectrum of classes in each discipline, so you can find the perfect flow for your body and your goals.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout that blends precision with power. Originally developed to help dancers recover from injuries, this method uses a specialized machine called a Reformer. The machine’s springs and pulleys provide adjustable resistance and support, allowing you to strengthen your muscles through a wide range of motion. It’s incredible for building deep core strength, improving posture, and creating balanced muscle tone. Each class challenges your coordination and deepens the mind-body connection, making it a purposeful practice for every fitness level. Whether you’re learning the fundamentals in our Toolbox class or building sculpted strength in Assets, the Reformer will challenge you in a way that feels both intense and restorative.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is where the practice began, and it’s a powerful way to build strength using the most accessible tool you have: your own body. These classes focus on core strength and controlled movements, all performed on a mat. The practice emphasizes precise alignment and breathwork, which helps you develop incredible body awareness that you’ll carry into every other activity. At Altea, we honor the classical foundations of the practice while introducing modern, music-driven formats to keep you challenged and inspired. You can build your foundation in Pilates Align, connect breath to movement in Pilates Flow, or experience a high-intensity, rhythm-driven workout in our exclusive Pilates Fire class.

Barre

If you love an energetic, beat-based workout that delivers a serious burn, you’ll love Barre. These classes blend elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga into a low-impact but high-intensity session. Using a ballet barre for balance, you’ll move through a series of small, controlled movements, isometric holds, and dynamic pulses designed to fatigue your muscles and build endurance. It’s a fantastic way to tone your entire body, especially your glutes, thighs, and core, while improving your posture and balance. Every class is a full-body challenge that will leave you feeling stronger and more graceful. Start with Barre Align to master the fundamentals or level up with Barre Sculpt for a deeper burn.

Connect and Recover: Yoga and Mobility Classes

A truly effective fitness plan isn’t just about pushing your limits; it’s also about knowing how to intelligently recover. Yoga and mobility classes are the essential other half of your training equation. They build the foundation for long-term performance by improving your flexibility, releasing deep-seated tension, and creating a stronger mind-body connection. Think of these classes not as an “off day,” but as a strategic part of your week that helps you show up stronger and more focused for your strength and cardio workouts.

At Altea, we see yoga as a practice that goes far beyond simple stretching. It’s a way to restore balance and cultivate strength from within. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a tough week, refine your movement patterns for a new personal best, or simply find a moment of calm, there’s a practice designed to meet your intention. From heated, high-energy flows to quiet, restorative sessions, these classes are your toolkit for building a more resilient and capable body.

Hot yoga and hot mat Pilates

If you love a good sweat, you’ll feel right at home in our heated Glow Studio. Practicing in a room warmed to the perfect temperature helps your muscles relax, allowing for a greater range of motion and deeper, more effective stretching. The warmth encourages you to sink into each pose, challenging your focus and endurance while flushing out toxins. Hot mat Pilates and hot yoga classes are incredible for building core strength and improving flexibility. You’ll leave feeling completely wrung out in the best way possible, with a sense of clarity and accomplishment.

Vinyasa and power yoga

Vinyasa and power yoga are all about flow. These dynamic styles synchronize your breath with your movement, creating a fluid, meditative experience that builds heat from the inside out. In a Vinyasa class, you’ll move seamlessly from one pose to the next, improving your coordination and mindfulness. Power Vinyasa takes that energy up a notch, offering a more athletic, strength-driven practice that will challenge your stamina and precision. With different levels available, you can start with the fundamentals and progress to more complex sequences as you build confidence and control.

Yin, mobility, and stretch classes

Consider these classes your secret weapon for recovery and longevity. Unlike more active styles of yoga, Yin focuses on long, passive holds that work deep into the connective tissues and fascia, releasing tension you might not even know you’re holding. It’s a quiet, meditative practice that dramatically improves flexibility. Mobility and stretch classes are more functional, designed to improve your joint health and articulation. They are some of the most popular group exercise classes for a reason: they directly translate to moving with more freedom and less pain, both in the gym and in your daily life.

Build Real Strength: Strength and Conditioning Classes

If you want to feel strong, capable, and resilient for the long haul, strength and conditioning classes are your foundation. Think of muscle as the organ of longevity; it supports your joints, drives your metabolism, and builds the framework for a healthier, more active life. But building real strength isn’t just about lifting the heaviest weight possible. It’s about moving with intention, mastering proper technique, and challenging your body in smart, progressive ways. It’s about showing up for a workout that has a clear purpose and leaves you feeling more confident than when you started.

At Altea, our strength and conditioning classes are designed to deliver exactly that. Every session is led by a certified personal trainer who provides the coaching and modifications you need to get stronger, safely. Whether you thrive on the personalized attention of a small group, the high-energy push of a conditioning class, or the focused work of a traditional strength session, there’s a class built to help you reach your goals. We handle the programming so you can focus on your performance.

Small group functional strength training

Functional fitness classes are designed to directly improve your performance in daily life. Think of it as training for everything you do outside the gym, from carrying groceries to picking up your kids. Our LF3 Small Group Functional Training program is the heart of this philosophy. In these classes, you’ll work through intentionally programmed workouts in a small group setting, giving you the perfect blend of personalized coaching and group energy. Your trainer guides you through smart progressions, ensuring you’re always challenged but never overwhelmed. It’s the most effective way to build practical, real-world strength and confidence in your movement.

HIIT and METCON classes

When you’re short on time but want a workout that delivers big results, look no further than High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Metabolic Conditioning (METCON). These classes are all about efficiency. They challenge you with short, intense bursts of work followed by brief rest periods to maximize your output and improve cardiovascular health. Our METCON and Power & Performance classes are fast-paced, circuit-style workouts that use athletic movements to challenge your heart, lungs, and core. You’ll leave feeling accomplished and energized, knowing you’ve pushed your limits in the most effective way possible.

Signature strength classes

Our Signature Strength classes are where you build the foundation. These sessions focus on the fundamentals of building muscle strength using compound lifts and targeted accessory work. In classes like Full Body Strength, you’ll hit every major muscle group with a focus on tempo and progressive overload to see and feel your progress week after week. If you have a specific goal in mind, you can join our Upper Body Strength or Booty Builder classes for more focused programming. With a personal trainer guiding your form in every class, you’ll learn to lift with confidence and build the lean muscle that supports long-term health.

Get Your Heart Pumping: Cardio Classes

Cardio is about so much more than just logging minutes on a machine. It’s about that feeling of getting lost in the music, the stress melting away with every punch, and the rush of accomplishment when you push past a new limit. At Altea, we believe cardio should be an experience you look forward to, not a chore you have to get through. That’s why we’ve moved beyond the typical gym floor and created dedicated studio environments for every type of cardio workout.

Whether you’re clipping into a bike for a rhythm ride, wrapping your hands for a boxing session, or hitting the tread for a structured run, our classes are designed to challenge your body and engage your mind. Each session is led by an expert coach who provides the structure, motivation, and technique you need to get a great workout. This is cardio with purpose, designed to build your stamina, improve your cardiovascular health, and leave you feeling energized.

Indoor cycling

Our cycle studio is where rhythm meets work. In a dark room with immersive sound and lighting, you’ll ride to the beat of the music in a workout that’s as much a party as it is a training session. Every class blends choreography, endurance climbs, and all-out sprints for a powerful, full-body workout that’s easy on your joints. We offer different class styles to match your vibe, from the anthem-filled MainStage ride to the deep, hypnotic beats of Underground. And don’t worry about gear; we provide complimentary cycle shoes for every class. Just show up ready to ride.

Boxing and kickboxing

There’s no better way to release stress and build total-body power than a boxing class. Our Strike Studio is built for precision and performance, teaching you real boxing technique with purpose. You’ll learn everything from fundamental footwork to fighter-level combinations, all while getting an incredible conditioning workout. Our classes range from The Toolbox, which focuses on foundations, to The Sweat Box, which blends boxing with high-intensity functional strength. It’s a fun, empowering way to relieve stress and sharpen your focus.

Tread and running classes

If you want to become a stronger, more efficient runner, our tread classes are for you. These aren’t your average treadmill sessions; they are structured programs designed to improve your performance. Our Walk to Run class is perfect for beginners, while Club Run offers a musically driven experience for all levels. For those with specific goals, we have classes designed to help you complete an indoor 5K or train for a HYROX race. Many of our classes, like Tread & Turf, incorporate High-Intensity Interval Training on and off the treadmill to build both your running capacity and your functional strength.

How to Choose the Right Class for Your Goals

With so many incredible options on the schedule, figuring out where to start can feel like a workout in itself. But building a routine that gets you results is less about doing everything at once and more about being intentional. Think of our class offerings as a toolkit, with each class designed for a specific job. The key is matching the right tool to your personal “why”—the reason you’re here. Whether you want to build lean muscle, improve your cardio, increase your flexibility, or prepare for a competitive event, there’s a clear path for you. This guide will help you connect your goals to the right Altea classes, so you can stop guessing and start making real, measurable progress.

For building strength and muscle

If your goal is to build lean muscle, get stronger, and define your physique, you’ll want to focus on resistance training. Our Signature Strength classes like Full Body Strength and Booty Builder use progressive overload to challenge your muscles and stimulate growth. For more personalized coaching in a small group setting, LF3 Strong classes are perfect. You’ll work with a certified trainer on heavy lifts and high-volume reps to build both raw strength and muscle endurance. Even Pilates can be a powerhouse for strength; our Power Reformer class uses spring resistance to build deep core strength and sculpted, resilient muscles from head to toe.

For weight loss and cardio improvement

To improve your heart health, increase your stamina, and support weight loss, you need to get your heart rate up. Classes built around high-intensity interval training (HIIT) are incredibly effective for this. Our beat-based Cycle classes in the Pace Studio will have you sweating and smiling, while Boxing classes in the Strike Studio are perfect for releasing stress and torching calories. For a running-focused challenge, try a Tread & Turf or Hardcore class in the LF3 Tread studio. And for a full-body conditioning blast, our METCON classes in the Signature Studio combine athletic movements in a fast-paced circuit that will leave you feeling powerful and accomplished.

For flexibility, mobility, and recovery

A strong body is a mobile body. If you want to move with more freedom, reduce aches and pains, and prevent injury, prioritizing recovery is a must. Our yoga and mobility classes are designed to do just that. Classes like Yin and Mobility & Stretch use sustained holds and dynamic movements to release tension in your muscles and connective tissues. Mat and Reformer Pilates are also fantastic for improving flexibility and body awareness by strengthening your core and improving your posture. These classes are the perfect complement to your higher-intensity workouts, helping you recover faster and feel more balanced both in and out of the club.

For performance events like HYROX

Training for a specific event like HYROX requires a special kind of preparation that blends strength, endurance, and skill. We have you covered. Altea is an official HYROX Performance Training Centre, and our programming is designed to get you race-day ready. Our Hyrox 60/90 classes simulate the event itself, combining running with functional workout stations. To build the necessary foundation, our LF3 and Signature Studio classes offer the perfect cross-training blend. You’ll build the strength needed for the sled pushes and the stamina for the runs, all under the guidance of certified trainers who understand the demands of the sport.

Your First Class: What Beginners Should Know

Walking into a new fitness environment can feel a little intimidating, but it’s also the exciting first step toward a routine you’ll actually love. Group fitness is designed to be welcoming, and with a few simple tips, you can walk into your first class feeling confident, prepared, and ready to have a great time. The best part is, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. At Altea, we’re here to guide you from day one.

How to pick your first class

With so many options, from beat-based cycle to restorative yoga, the first question is always: where do I start? The best approach is to choose a class that aligns with what you want to achieve and, just as importantly, what sounds fun to you. If your goal is to build muscle, a Signature Strength or LF3 class is a great starting point. If you’re looking to improve heart health and sweat it out, try a Pace cycle class. For flexibility and mindfulness, a yoga or mat Pilates class is perfect. At Altea, every new member receives a complimentary Baseline RX session, which includes a personalized 7-day fitness plan. This takes the guesswork out of your first week and ensures you’re starting with classes that are right for your body and your goals.

What to know before you go

A little preparation goes a long way. First, it’s always a good idea to talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise program. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to find your studio, set up your spot, and introduce yourself to the instructor. Let them know you’re new; they’re there to help. Our instructors are certified experts who can show you the correct way to do exercises and offer modifications to help prevent injuries. Wear comfortable athletic clothing you can move in, and bring a water bottle. At Altea, we take care of the rest by providing complimentary sweat towels, mats, and even cycle shoes, so you can travel light.

How to build a smart weekly schedule

That first class is just the beginning. The key to seeing real, lasting results is consistency. Research shows that members who attend group fitness classes are more likely to stick with their routine. A smart schedule includes a mix of modalities to create balance. For example, you could pair two or three strength classes like LF3 Strong with a cardio-focused class like The Sweat Box and a recovery day featuring a Yin yoga class or a session in our Thermal Cove. This approach helps build well-rounded fitness, prevents burnout, and keeps your body challenged. Your personalized Altea plan will map this out for you, creating an integrated schedule that makes showing up the easiest part of your day.

Busting the Biggest Group Fitness Myths

If you’ve been hesitant to try a group fitness class, chances are it’s because of a few persistent myths. The truth is, the world of group fitness has evolved far beyond the one-size-fits-all aerobics classes of the past. Modern studios offer specialized, expertly designed programs that cater to a huge range of goals and experience levels. Let’s clear up some of the most common misconceptions that might be holding you back from finding a class you love. By understanding what today’s classes truly offer, you can walk into any studio with the confidence that you belong there.

“Group classes are only for beginners”

This is one of the most common myths, and it couldn’t be further from the truth. While many classes are beginner-friendly, the best programs are designed with layers and progressions to challenge every fitness level in the room. A great instructor provides modifications to scale the intensity up or down, ensuring you get the right workout for your body. At Altea, our classes are built for growth. You can start with a foundational class like Reformer Toolbox, then progress to our dynamic Power or Precision formats. This structure allows you to build your skills and get stronger within a consistent and supportive environment.

“You need to be fit before you join”

Feeling like you need to get in shape before you go to a fitness class is a classic catch-22 that keeps too many people on the sidelines. The entire purpose of a class is to meet you where you are and help you improve. In reality, many classes welcome beginners and offer ways to make exercises easier or harder, ensuring everyone can participate. Look for foundational workshops like our “Unlock Your Ride” for cycle or “The Toolbox” for boxing. These sessions focus on form and technique so you can build confidence and move safely. Remember, everyone in that room was a beginner once.

“Group fitness is just cardio”

If you think group fitness is just endless cardio, you’re missing out on a whole world of workouts. Today’s studios offer an incredible variety of classes that go far beyond just getting your heart rate up. You can find everything from heavy lifting and functional strength training to mind-body practices like yoga and Pilates. This diversity allows you to build a well-rounded routine that covers all your bases, mixing and matching from many different types of group fitness classes. At Altea, you can lift heavy in a Signature Strength class on Monday and then restore your body in a Yin Yoga class on Wednesday, all under one roof.

“You won’t get results like you do training alone”

While solo training has its place, group classes offer unique benefits that are proven to deliver results. The energy of a full room, the motivation from an expert coach, and the accountability of working out alongside others can push you to work harder than you might on your own. Plus, professionally designed programs take the guesswork out of your training. Instead of wondering what to do next, you can trust that you’re following a structured plan. The right class provides a sense of community and guidance that makes showing up and achieving your goals that much easier.

How to Get Every Class You Want, All Under One Roof

Maybe you love the intensity of a strength class but also crave the mindful release of hot yoga. Or you want to mix in a high-energy cycle class a few times a week, but your gym doesn’t have a dedicated studio. For years, the only solution was to piece together multiple memberships, juggling different apps, schedules, and locations just to get the variety you wanted. It’s expensive, complicated, and frankly, exhausting. It’s a common frustration that leaves you compromising on your fitness and wellness goals.

We believe you shouldn’t have to compromise. That’s why we built our clubs with a “boutiques within a box” model, bringing six or more world-class studios together under one membership. Instead of choosing between a Pilates studio, a boxing gym, or a place with great strength equipment, you get all of it. This approach makes it easier to stay consistent, since people who participate in group fitness tend to visit their club more often. It means you can finally build a routine that truly works for you, without the logistical headache.

Having access to this much variety isn’t just about preventing boredom; it’s about building a smarter, more integrated training plan. Your body thrives on different types of movement. The mobility you build in a yoga class directly supports your lifts in the strength studio. The core control you develop in Reformer Pilates translates to better form and power on the bike. When every modality is available to you, you can train, sweat, and recover in a way that creates balanced, sustainable results.

But with so many options, how do you know what to do? We solve that problem from day one. Every Altea membership starts with a complimentary Baseline RX session, which includes a body composition analysis and a personalized plan built around your goals. We take the guesswork out of the equation, giving you a clear 7-day schedule so you know exactly which classes will help you get where you want to go. It’s about having endless options, but with expert guidance to help you make the right choices. This level of personalization, combined with the support and motivation from the community, is what makes all the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a total beginner. Are group classes too intense for me? Not at all. The best group fitness classes are designed to meet you exactly where you are. A great instructor will always offer modifications, which are different options for each exercise so you can choose the intensity that feels right for your body. We also offer foundational classes like Toolbox for Reformer Pilates or Unlock Your Ride for cycle, which are specifically designed to teach you the fundamentals in a supportive environment. Everyone in that room was a beginner once, and the goal is to help you build confidence safely.

How do I build a weekly schedule that actually gets results? A smart weekly schedule is all about balance. A great starting point is to aim for a mix of strength, cardio, and recovery. For example, you could plan for two or three strength classes like LF3 Strong or Full Body Strength, one or two cardio sessions like a cycle or boxing class, and one active recovery class like Yin yoga. This approach builds well-rounded fitness and prevents burnout. The good news is, you don’t have to figure this out alone; our complimentary Baseline RX session provides you with a personalized 7-day plan to get you started.

With so many options, how do I know which class is right for my specific goal, like building muscle? The key is to match the class to your goal. If you want to build lean muscle, your best bet is to prioritize resistance training. Look for classes like our Signature Strength series (Full Body, Upper Body, Booty Builder) and LF3 Strong, which focus on progressive overload with weights. For improving heart health and supporting weight loss, high-energy classes like Cycle, Boxing, and METCON are fantastic choices. And for flexibility and injury prevention, you can’t go wrong with Yoga, Mobility, or Pilates.

I’m worried I’ll get bored. How does variety help me stay consistent? Boredom is a major reason people fall off their fitness routines, and variety is the perfect solution. Mixing up your workouts does more than just keep things interesting; it also helps you avoid hitting a plateau. When you challenge your body with different types of movement, you continue to see progress in your strength, stamina, and mobility. It also keeps you mentally engaged and excited to show up. One day you can build power in a boxing class, and the next you can find your flow in a Vinyasa class.

What if I’m already experienced? Will I be challenged enough in a group setting? Absolutely. While our classes are accessible to beginners, they are designed with layers of progression to challenge even the most experienced athletes. In any class, you can increase the intensity by lifting heavier, moving faster, or taking the advanced options offered by the instructor. We also have specific classes like Power Vinyasa, LF3 Strong | Heavy, and Power Reformer that are built for a higher level of intensity and skill. A great coach knows how to push everyone in the room, regardless of their starting point.
