Five Balanced Body Studio Reformers in a calm, focused room on West 6th, built for precise, coached movement.
The Reformer makes resistance precise and feedback immediate. Each spring setting and coached adjustment helps you find alignment, control, and strength without relying on speed or impact.
A quieter kind of strength
Reformer work does not need volume to feel powerful. Each movement is shaped by resistance, breath, alignment, and time under tension, creating a full-body practice that builds stability without relying on impact or speed.

Progression with purpose
The format ladder gives members a clear way to begin and advance.
- Toolbox builds confidence with the apparatus.
- Reform develops full-body fluency.
- Assets, Power, and Precision add more specific strength, control, and intensity as the practice deepens.

A practice that supports the whole plan
Reformer pairs naturally with strength training, mobility work, and recovery. For members building a more intentional routine through Altea's ecosystem, it becomes a way to refine how the body moves, not simply another class on the schedule.

Class formats
Precision
Slower, form-focused intervals (up to 60 seconds each). Fewer movements, more time under tension. Expect endurance, intensity, and next-level burn.
Power
Fuse Pilates technique with strength-training principles. Perfect for those who love resistance work and want to increase muscular capacity and control.
Assets
Flow-based progression with a focus on deep core and glute activation. Build sculpted strength and lasting stability.
Reform
Our signature, full-body class. Designed for anyone with a Reformer foundation. Expect smooth sequencing, progressive layers, and balanced strength throughout the body.
Toolbox
Learn the essentials—from Reformer mechanics to breath and body control. Build confidence and coordination through precision and practice.
