To me, advanced yoga is learning to be present in your mind and body, and adjusting your practice accordingly – present over perfect. My classes focus on both the mental and physical aspects of yoga – emphasizing mindfulness, breath, and presence, while practicing asanas that focus on strength, stretching and balance – inviting students to meet themselves where they are each day. My teaching style is embodied, creative, and evolving, focusing on the balance between challenge and relaxation. Lauren guides her students to use their breath to fuel their movements.
