All memberships—except Platinum Flex & Diamond Flex—include transfer privileges within the original contract term. To confirm eligibility, requirements, and fees, please visit the front desk.

Platinum, Platinum Flex, Diamond and Diamond Flex memberships have 6 biweekly holds annually per Contract Start Date. To request a membership freeze, please complete a Membership Freeze Request through the MyAlteaActive App. Freeze requests require 5-day’s notice and cannot be applied retroactively.

Guest Service Hours: 8am-8pm daily, our Member Service Team is available to assist.

*Eligible memberships must be in good standing for hold privileges’ to be applied.

Guests can join a class on a walk-in basis (if there is availability in the class).

Yes. There is a bike room located on P1 with 80 stalls available for Altea members and guests. The room is located immediately outside of the south entry door to the main bank of elevators. Altea is not responsible for you or personal belongings.

Altea is planning to expand within Ontario and across Canada!

All of our memberships include access to the pool; however, we do not offer a membership for only the pool. If you would like to learn more about our membership options, please book a tour.

All members have access to all studio fitness classes, strength & cardio equipment, pool & spa amenities, recovery equipment, 2-hour parking & lounge areas.

Items that require an additional fee are personal training, LF3 group training (Diamond members have access to unlimited LF3 sessions), Reformer Pilates, Active Kids Club, Somadome Meditation Pod, Starbucks & TheSmoothie Bar.

We are open Monday to Saturday from 5AM to 11PM and Sundays from 5AM to 9PM.

If you receive 3 strikes within a 14-day rolling period, you will lose booking privileges until your strikes expire (14 days).

If you book a Studio Fitness class through your MyAlteaActive app and do not attend, or you cancel your session with less than 30-minutes notice, you will receive one strike. To avoid a strike, it is essential to check in with your studio instructor upon arrival at your class.

Altea currently opens reservations through the MyAlteaActive app 48 hours prior to each class. Members are able to book on a first-in basis.  If you are not going to be able to make the class, we ask that you cancel at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time. This allows time for another member to fill your spot if you can’t make it!  Cancellations within 30 minutes of the class start time will be considered a late cancel, and you will receive a strike.

We accept walk-ins to each class if there is space available.

Yes, all studio fitness classes are included in all levels of membership.

Yes, as long as they are over 12 years old AND a current member or visitor with a valid Guest Pass. Please note that guests are limited to walk-in availability for classes.

Yes, all classes provide progressions and modifications. We use acronyms for levels: E=Everyone, I=Intermediate, A=Advanced to help you choose the right level for your workout.

Diamond members receive a 30 minute follow up Rx session every 4 weeks to continue to track their progress.

No, we have 15 individual Pods fully equipped with everything you will need for your session.

Certainly, you can use the MyAlteaActive App to book or simply speak to any of our Customer Service Associates about booking an LF3 session.

Members will be required to add a credit card onto their LF3 account to activate their booking access. If you are having issues booking, please email omerritt@alteaactive.com.

The warm ups are designed to reduce the risk of injury therfore for safety late comers will not be permitted to join the session.

Booked sessions not attended or cancelled inside of 12 hours prior will incur a $15 Late cancel fee.

LF3 sessions can be booked 72 Hours in advance.

LF3 classes are limited to 15 participants. Everyone will receive their own station and focused attention from the LF3 Coach

The Rx session is your 1 on 1 consultation to build your personalized training plan. We will discuss your training history, injuries and goals followed by completing an Evolt Body Scan.

Bring gym clothes that allow you to move freely. Training shoes are more appropriate than running shoes for lifting weights. A water bottle is recommended. Cell phones are allowed but should not we worn on the body while exercising.

Yes. Personal training sessions expire after one year.

Your personal trainer will collaborate with you to determine your levels of perceived exertion. They will use the information you provide to ensure you are working hard enough to see results, but NOT in excess of what is safe or appropriate.

No. Your personal trainer will present renewal options near the end of your current package.

No. Training packages can not be cancelled outside of your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act. Sessions can be sold or gifted to other Altea members.

Three sessions per week is optimal for seeing results, while two sessions per week can be effective if the client also completes workouts on their own.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Personal training sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be charged.
