All memberships except for Platinum Flex have transfer privileges.

The stipulations surrounding a transfer are as follows:

• Eligible members may only transfer their membership within their initial contract term.
• Both the transferor and transferee must be present at the club to complete the membership transfer.
• Members must pay a transfer fee, that may change at the sole discretion of Altea Active. Currently there are two options available for eligible members:

• 1. Transfer Option 1:   Fee: $99.95 + tax.  New member joins at the current membership rate and receives the term remaining on the agreement.
  2. Transfer Option 2:  Fee: $249.95 + tax.  New member joins at the previous member’s membership rate and receives the term remaining on the agreement.

– Unlimited Best-In-Class studio fitness classes. Choose from 120+ weekly classes across 5 boutique studios.
– State-of-the-art strength and cardio machines with personalized entertainment
– Functional Turf Area + 8 Olympic Lifting Platforms
– Catalyst Cafe & Wine Bar + regular member and social events
– Member lounge areas
– Luxe dry saunas and steam cabins in each change room

Items that have additional fees include:
Personal Training, Reformer Pilates Training, hydromassage, cryotables, Catalyst Café & Wine Bar, and Active Kids Club
(plus LF3 group training for non-diamond members).

Altea Active: West 6 is located at 425 W 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Y1L3 (West 6th at Yukon Street)

At this point, plans are to operate the Altea Active West 6 community Monday to Friday from 5am to 11pm, and on weekends from 6am to 8pm. Catalyst Cafe & Wine Bar will remain open later on Saturday evening for dining and events. Hours TBD.

Yes, guardians must stay in the building during their child’s visit at the Active Kids Club.

Active Kids Club is scheduled to operate on Weekdays from 8am-8pm and Weekends from 8am-1pm

Our Active Kids Club team welcome Junior Members and Guests from 1 month to 11 years of age.

Yes! Finding time for self-improvement can be challenging when you have little ones, but it’s so important. We’ve invested in a supervised children’s activity centre available to you when you’re using the facility. The Active Kids Club has a quiet room, a play zone, an arts and craft area, and so much more! Your kids will love spending time here.

Yes, as long as they are over 12 years old, a current member or visitor with a valid Guest Pass. Please note that guests are limited to walk-in availability.

Yes, all classes provide progressions and modifications. We use acronyms for levels: E=Everyone, I=Intermediate, A=Advanced to help you choose the right level for your workout.

The schedule is seasonal with slight changes for Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring. It will also adjust based on member feedback to ensure that Altea Active is always delivering the best possible experience.

All members have full access to best-in-class boutique offerings within the clubs Cycle Studio, Hot Yoga Studio, Fusion Studio, and Main Studio that will feature an amazing array of classes, including Anti-Gravity Fitness, boxing, dance, strength and more.

The LF3 small group training studio is a feature of the Diamond Membership, but is also available to other membership tiers with a drop-in fee. The Pilates Reformer Training will be available as an additional service for members.

LF3 classes are limited to 15 participants. Everyone will receive their own station and focused attention from the LF3 Coach

The Rx session is your 1 on 1 consultation to build your 7-day personalized training plan. We will discuss your training history, injuries and goals to customize your training routine. We will also capture an idea of your baseline fitness with our medical grade bioscan device, the Evolt 360.

Each LF3 class incorporates a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance training that is never repeated twice. We’re all about keeping it new and exciting to keep you, and your body, on its toes. Our engaging staff and sense of camaraderie you’ll build with other members will keep you wanting to come back to LF3, again and again. Heads up! You won’t see machines in our studios. Our workouts are based on realistic movements inspired by everyday life. Learn to enjoy movement and enhance your overall quality of life. LF3 stands for Lifestyle Fitness based on three core pillars (Be Strong, Be Healthy, Be Resilient). LF3 is Altea’s small group training and digital fitness solution. Altea wants to make sure that every member has the ability to access quality fitness professionals and science based workout programming anytime, anywhere in all of their membership offerings. Our Diamond membership is the only membership that includes unlimited LF3 small group training sessions, in person.

All of our memberships include a Road Map Session. During this session you will discuss your goals, exercise history and much more. At the end of this appointment we would be able to recommend which trainer we believe would suit your needs best.

The price of our personal training packages are determined by the frequency and duration of the package, as well as the level of the trainer.

Absolutely! We offer 1-on-1 personal training and small group training programs. Our dedicated personal trainers are ready to work alongside you to motivate, educate and inspire results.
